Bornfree Profile: Nathi from Gauteng

Welcome to our awesome series of interviews with Bornfrees! We'll be highlighting the stories of Bornfrees from all around South Africa and are keen to hear from YOU if you were born into freedom - make contact through our email bornfrees18@gmail.com or our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/BornfreesSa or twitter @BornfreesSA

Today we meet Nathi from Soweto in Gauteng.

Tell us who you are and where you're from and staying currently
I’m from Soweto, but now I live in Leondale.

Who do you live with and where?
I live with my mother

What are you doing currently (eg. attending school, working etc) and tell us more about that?
I’m currently attending school, and doing some volunteer work.

Who is the most important person in your life and why?
My mother is the most important person in my life. She understands of far better than anyone else, and is the only person that really cares about me.

Do you have a rolemodel?
Somizi Mhlongo has shown that what people think of you does not make a person, but rather hard work makes a person.

What do you think is the benefit of being a Bornfree?
The fact that we are now in a free world, is a great benefit, but truly speaking the benefits have long died out, and we are now faced by a high degree of social decay, and rot.

Are there any negative aspects of being a Bornfree?
We have inherited a land that is sacred, and where the people are angry, so that to some aspect has not been a benefit.

What's your idea of a perfect day?
Just to be happy, and help people in need, that is my goal.

What message would you share with other Bornfrees?
what we stand for... Try by all means to be true to yourself.

Special thanks to HDI Youth Marketers for connecting us to Nathi! http://www.hdiyouth.com
